Bright sunshine greeted us on Monday morning (19th) with 4 couples ready to play.    It was the usual two teams and the Ladies pitched off first but is was their opponents who scored the first two points which the Ladies then equalised.    The Gents then zoomed ahead with the next three single points and the Ladies again equalised with a two and a one.    But it was the Gents who dominated the final six ends scoring a further eight points to the Ladies’ two

Total scores were 7 and 13 in favour of the Gents.  This was an extra match that we slipped in as we couldn’t play last Monday due to rain.    All being well our final game will be next Monday (26th) at the usual time of 10.15am on the pitch behind the library.    Fingers crossed that the sun shines down on us then.      All welcome.    Ken
